Interior Design Flooring Sales SpecialistAs a member of our team you would join an experienced group of men and women who set high standards for themselves. If you like being in charge, if you enjoy helping others, if you value camaraderie, if you are good with numbers and are educated in interior design or flooring sales, then this could be a good choice for you. At FCA you will advance at your own pace. This is truly a genuine opportunity to earn a solid income. Floor covering or furniture experience is helpful but not essential. You’ll be assigned a mentor to guide you through the basics of the business. Such basics include estimating, sales strategies, and product knowledge. You would participate in weekly one hour product sales meetings and quarterly sales training seminars. We take a consultative approach to selling and a “hands on" approach to training. The skills you learn at FCA will give you a solid foundation for your future. We believe in doing the right things right and creating long term relationships with our customers.
Minimum Qualifications:- A four year college or university degree in design or a related field
- Two years or more success in consumer sales - from working as a waitress to department store sales
- A sincere concern for customers and colleagues
- A sound work ethic and a positive attitude
- Attention to detail; ease with numbers
- Outstanding memory
- A valid driver’s license
- Drug free (a pre-employment screening test is required)
